10 SepHow to Make an Oat Spike Sinnet (Paracord Bracelet) by TIAT

Paracord Fusion Ties – Volume 1: www.amazon.com The Oat Spike Sinnet is a subtle twist on the Endless Falls tying technique. Creating a stalked seed and husk like array of paracord, the tie generates a look akin to an Oak Spike [thus the tie's name]. Making a great bracelet, the piece is well worth the tie! Video production by JD Lenzen of Tying It All Together.

This is a twist on the Cobra Stitch/Solomon Bar/Portuguese Sinnet which results in a heart shaped pattern that can be repeated the entire length of the bracelet or can be injected into a normal cobra weave leaving a single heart shape. If you know how to tie a cobra weave bracelet then you can tie this bracelet. Bracelet can be made with a buckle or a loop and knot fastener design, makers choice. The bracelet can be worn and the wearer has the benefit of having an extra 7-9 feet of 550 paracord on them; if the situation dictates, the bracelet can be unwoven and the cordage becomes available for use. Makes a great addition to a survival kit or survival plan. Please refer to other YouTube videos for instructions on making a two color Cobra Weave as well as ways to join two different colors of paracord. Hope you enjoy the video and thanks for watching. Like some other users, I am loving this braid, but I too can’t seem to get the diamond knot down. It’s probably my fault because I’m using blue and gold, and the color pattern is completely opposite to yours lol. If you could either make a video going through the exact knot again, or message me a link to one you already have, I’d appreciate it.

I really like the pattern on this bracelet and it’s easy to follow. Although, the part about the four strand diamond knot is harder to understand. Is there any way that you could make a video explaining how to tie the knot more thoroughly? It would help me out a lot. Thanks

Good video, what you need to do is make a video on how you made your jig. There are a couple out there, but not great. Just a thought.
