Question by broadwaylights22: What is this friendship bracelet stitch called?
http://www.barronmall.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product3_Kiwua+Woven+Yarn+Bracelets_16501_10401_48518_-1
I know how to do the simple candy stripe stitch but I don’t know how to do this V-like pattern and I don’t know what it’s called so I can’t look up instructions.
Does anyone know the name of the stitch?
Or can anyway give or find instructions for me?
Thank you!

That pattern is called a chevron (and technically it’s made with knots, not stitches, which may be why you’re having trouble finding it.)
Since you know how to make the candy stripe, this should be fairly easy for you. One side of the chevron will use the same knot as the candy stripe, and the other side is the same only in reverse. Try this link to learn the backwards knot:

And then this link to learn the chevron pattern:

Good luck!
