[CLICK HERE FOR INSTRUCTIONS] ____________________________________________ MATERIAL: Six Stranded Embroidery Floss (DMC BRAND) & Braided Yarn Center Strand (yarn takes the place of the hair.) ■ Before leaving a question please check to see if it has already been answered in the comments section or in the links supplied below. ☼ I know it is always easier to just simply ask a question but with so many people following me it is getting harder and harder for me to answer. If for some reason your question has not been answered below (or) you can’t find it on your own check out these links: FAQ: beyondbracelets.blogspot.com Annotation Link Video: www.youtube.com ____________________________________________ [This is the basic X-Wrap hair wrap/bracelet pattern.] For nicer more ‘defined’ stripes try keeping out six strands. Four of one color and two of another! When the time comes to wrap just set them up on the left and right as follows: BLACK – GREEN – BLACK (middle wrap) BLACK – GREEN – BLACK • The black outsides will help form a border next to the colored strands. (Good example of this ‘look’ is the icon veronmartins used for her – How to make The Hippie Friendship Bracelet *NEW* – video.) Also, don’t be afraid to mix and match your colors! Substitute one of the GREEN middle strings for a PINK and you’ll have green wrap one way and pink wrapping the other! Substitute any of the strands you want, colors can really make or break a project so experiment and see what pleases

Thanks for this video. I want to make clip-on hair wraps in different styles and colors but I couldn’t find a decent tutorial anywhere. Thanks for showing us how!

I am. I’ve started medicine for my fibromyalgia once I was diagnosed about two months ago and have been feeling better since then.

I hope you’re feeling better. You are very dedicated to your viewers;) Thanks but be sure to take care of yourself. Love the wraps!

  4. BeyondBracelets says:

I did when I first started this all… started filing them and was able to cut the habbit… then soon realized the only reason I bit them to begin with was because they were uneven. Talk about irony.

Crimp ends or two braids on either side with an adjustable knot.

  8. kimmiekiwi67 says:

If you want to do this as a bracelet, what would be the best way to tie it together?

  9. BeyondBracelets says:

It’s pretty difficult to do on yourself… but you braid your hair like the yarn in the video… then you do exactly what was shown.

  18. BeyondBracelets says:

I’m not sure what you mean.

  19. justinbieberfan474 says:

Dont u get worried because one yarn is shorter than the other one

  20. BeyondBracelets says:

I got mine at the art store. The book information is in the description.

  21. MegaJessica1 says:

That book you have in the beginning seems very cool! Where did you get it?

  22. BeyondBracelets says:

I’m not sure what you mean…

If you mean doing it in different sections then yes, that would work.

If you mean doing the wrap with all of those colors and then doing a wrap over them with three of those, then yes.

If you mean doing the X part with all 6, then probably not. It would look too cluttered.

  23. 151tdawg says:

can i do this with like green yellow red black like a total of 6 strands??
